If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know that I read Paul Krugman for economic policy, and people like Chet Richards for foreign and military affairs thinking.

Here's an excellent article by Mr Richards from the Armed Forces Journal. What we're doing wrong, and how we can fix it. No soaring rhetoric, just simple concrete changes we can make to our policy. They're big changes.
